Microsoft will start rolling out its Copilot digital assistant to all customers this week, on September 26th, together with a host of new AI-powered capabilities as part of a new Windows 11 22H2 update.
As the highlight of this next update, Microsoft Copilot will be easy to summon via the taskbar or using the Win+C keyboard shortcut.
"Copilot will uniquely incorporate the context and intelligence of the web, your work data and what you are doing in the moment on your PC to provide better assistance – with your privacy and security at the forefront," Microsoft CVP Yusuf Mehdi said on Thursday.
"With the feature update, Copilot in Windows will be on by default, but under your control with Microsoft Intune policy or Group Policy," Microsoft's Harjit Dhaliwal added in a separate blog post for enterprise customers.
